Welland, Ontario, October 1, 2024 - Youngs Insurance Brokers Inc. is pleased to announce that it has not only reached but surpassed its $100,000 fundraising goal for the Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation, in support of McMaster Children’s Hospital, a commitment the company has proudly been pursuing since 2019. The Third Annual Patty Valleriani Memorial Charity Golf Tournament this year raised an impressive $30,000, pushing the total donation to an outstanding $115,000.
The tournament, held at Lookout Point Country Club, continues to honour the memory of Patty Valleriani, wife of Youngs Insurance Brokers President, Sandy Valleriani. Patty's passion for community service and charitable giving lives on through this event and the company's #GiveBackOntario initiative.

"Surpassing our $100,000 fundraising goal in support of McMaster Children's Hospital is a testament to the incredible dedication of our golf committee team, the tournament volunteers, and the exceptional generosity of our sponsors and attendees. We're thrilled to announce that our total contribution now stands at $115,000. This achievement truly exemplifies our commitment to giving back to the communities we serve. We know that Patty would be incredibly proud of our organization, and everyone involved for achieving and exceeding this significant milestone."
The funds raised will continue to support the Pediatric Oncology Clinic renovation and expansion project at McMaster Children's Hospital. This project aims to enhance the patient experience by creating distinct areas tailored to different age groups and implementing an in-house Pharmacy Satellite Chemotherapy Suite.
"The impact of our contributions is becoming increasingly visible," Valleriani added. "It's a privilege to know that our efforts are making an even greater difference in the lives of children facing cancer and their families."
