Unfortunately, like everything in 2020, COVID-19 is getting in the way of Friday the 13th. It appears as if our tradition of riding to Port Dover is being severely threatened. Multiple reports have clearly stated that motorcyclists are not welcome in Port Dover with one resident saying , "Please, stay away." (Source: CTV News Online)

Bikers Are Discouraged from Attending
As COVID-19 numbers continue to rise across Ontario, there's a very clear message from Norfolk County regarding motorcycle riders who love going to Port Dover every Friday the 13th. Mayor Kristal Chopp says council voted unanimously to enact measures designed to discourage bikers. This includes a media messaging campaign in several municipalities as well as a denial of all vendor permits.
4 Alternatives for You to Try
Trust us, we always look forward to our Friday the 13th trips to Port Dover, but we have some great alternatives you might want to do instead:

- Just because you can't go to Port Dover, doesn't mean you can't get on your motorcycle and go for a ride!
