International Female Ride Day (IFRD) is on Saturday, May 4, 2019, and is the world’s largest and only women motorcycle rider event. It’s a global motorcycle campaign for female motorcyclists who own, ride or are interested in anything motorcycle related.
Women, who participate in International Female Ride Day, demonstrate their passion, ability, enthusiasm, and involvement in motorcycling and motorsport.
How it All Began
The concept of IFRD was developed by Vicki Gray, owner, and founder of Motoress and motorcycling advocate.
International Female Ride Day promotes women participating in motorcycling by providing a platform for female motorcycle riders to interact and develop relationships with a common interest. Each year this campaign continues to expand and is the only female motorcycle event in North America.
Celebrating International Female Ride Day?
International Female Ride Day invites women to just ride – there isn’t a specifically organized ride nor is it a ride for charity. It is simply for awareness and empowering women.
