#3 Minimize Glare

Most rear-view mirrors have two settings, one being for night time driving. If you notice a glare in your mirror from the headlights of the vehicles behind you, adjust the setting so the bright lights don’t interfere with your vision. To minimize the glare from headlights caused by oncoming traffic, avoid looking directly at the lights; instead, look ahead and slightly right.
