Bullying is a major problem, especially in schools and online and affects so many people emotionally, physically and mentally. Pink Shirt Day helps to raise awareness as well as funds to support programs that empower children and help them with self-esteem issues. Some of these programs include Boys and Girls Clubs, Red Cross and Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention Centres.
