TIP 1 | Get Your Car Serviced
Spring is a great time to have your car checked by a trusted mechanic. Areas that will need attention are your car’s oil and other important fluids, filters, belts, hoses, lights and the battery.
TIP 2 | Store Your Winter Tires
It’s important to remove your winter tires and replace them with all season or summer tires. Winter tires tend to wear out faster in the warmer weather, and thus not ideal for spring/summer driving. All season tires are perfect to put on your car when the weather is consistently 7 degrees Celsius or warmer.
TIP 3 | Show Your Car Some TLC
Even your car will appreciate a little spring cleaning! Refresh the interior of your car by vacuuming the carpet, washing the floor mats, wiping the windows and dusting the dashboard. Then you can wash the exterior with a mild diluted soap – and dry your car right away to prevent water spots.
TIP 4 | Get New Wiper Blades
Wiper blades can crack and the rubber can break off causing them to leave streaks on your windows when you use them. Replacing them once a year is a good idea.

It’s extremely important to check your car’s tire pressure regularly. Your car manual will tell you what the tire pressure should be for your particular vehicle. You should also check the tire treads to make sure the wear bars aren’t exposed. If they are, the tires should be replaced.
