By now most people have heard of the hit television series Breaking Bad. RJ Mitte, actor and star from the popular show has created a new series of video’s discussing insurance coverage and accidents.
The first video of the series is titled, RJ’s Bad Breaks: Auto Accidents Aplenty. This video series was designed for millennials to raise awareness regarding the importance of ‘complete’ insurance coverage, while providing accident prevention tips.
In this video RJ Mitte discusses that “Bad Breaks” happen, but it is essential that we as consumers “get smart” about our insurance coverage and ensure we are aware of everything that is included in such coverage. RJ Mitte also shares some insurance coverage tips, such as;
- Before you buy a new car make sure you can afford to insure it
- Ask your insurer about possible discounts available to you on your insurance coverage
- Protect your identity – only share insurance information if you are in an accident NOT personal information
One of the most interesting points in this video was regarding protecting your identity. Often, following an accident millennials will share their driver license information or other personal information by sending it via text/email etc. This is not required the ONLY information you should share following an accident is your insurance information.
